Photography

My friend was asking some advice about flash and lighting effects because she wants to join the photos of the year contest and wants to make sure she would win it. I asked her why she was asking me because I am not a professional photographer and I don’t think I’m credible enough to give advices about this kind of stuff. Then she replied she doesn’t need the technical stuff of taking a picture using a camera, she is just fascinated with the way I handle the camera because she said I always take good pictures whenever she lends me her DSLR camera.

I told her it is actually not much because as I have mentioned, I am not a pro and I guess the main reason why I could take good shots is because I am patient at taking the scenes and I make sure that I only get the best views that I could make, no matter who’s the person I’m taking, the background that I use, or the inanimate things that I try to take a photo of. I said I think it’s also the matter of knowing how much light should be used on a certain picture, and never ever take pictures against the light because you can never get a good result from it.
