Things

I just had my new camera and I was told that taking a good picture does not depend on how good your camera is or how good your lenses are. It is actually an art that needs to be practiced and enhanced through time. Similar to painting, you have to make sure that the colors are well blended together and not just take pictures just because you want to take them. He gave me some particular websites that would give me some ideas and simple tips to improve outdoor portraits.

It was said there to avoid having too much on the background because it will just ruin the view of the picture. Also try to remove some strange objects from your background. Any unnecessary objects should be removed to have the full effect of the surroundings and avoid having the viewers concentrate on those unnecessary objects. I also found out something about metering in photography, where it’s basically all about proper lighting, and that taking pictures against the light is not always a bad thing. I guess I still have a long way to go before I could really call myself a certified photographer. I just have to have patience for now so I could get what I want.
