Structures of Russia

I just came from Russia to check out all of their architectural geniuses. I have decided to put it in my portfolio and I chose the place because the great structures, plus the fact that the country possesses a very rich history. I took advantage of the situation when my friends were telling me about a Russian tour that they have been planning for quite some time. They said they signed up for the top-gun adventure trip so they could try to fly a mig fighter jet. I thought it would be a nice opportunity for me to enjoy with my friends, and enrich my portfolio as well. The place was great as I thought it was. We were able to visit some of their best built structures.

I was able to take pictures of the Shukhov Tower in Moscow, the Dushkin’s tower, a view of the MIBC skyscrapers, Ostankino Tower, some parts of the Vorobyevy Gory residential development and a night shot of the Moskva River, showing several other structures, including the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was really quite an experience to remember and great addition to my collection of pictures. I hope someday I’d be able to use them for a better work.

Printing Online

Whether you are what they call a teen, young at heart, professional or non professional photographer.., it’s always been a good feeling capturing those what they call “captured moments” in our life. Now, even young ones at the age of 8 years old enjoys the camera and even had the term “camwhore” invented by the new generation. Aside from taking pictures, it is always important to these people to see their master pieces in hard copy or printed. Printing pictures from different size like to fit their wallet or even as large as their wall. Because of the inventions in the world of photography, being a photographer in your own way has never been easy.

Printing large pictures have never been made easier nowadays with the help of some web sites around the globe. Large format prints can now be easily possible to do just by clicking the right buttons and visiting the correct URL. Those kinds of web sites help people with their printing needs and can even handle enlarged banners or even enlarged posters and signs.

These printing companies specializes themselves to give the people what they want in terms of printing. Similar to the big names like Kodak, Konica and some other big time printing businesses, there are a lot of other printing web sites that can render a good quality of service in lesser amounts compared to the more popular ones. This is where real service comes in because most of the printing web sites out there can give the same quality as the popular ones without overspending. They really help a lot by providing good service and quality prints. Basing on personal experience, I have been able to get better service from those less popular printing web sites compared to the more popular brands. They are much cheaper with the best quality and I don’t think I’ll ever go to those notable varieties.

Nature at its best

I happen to try another subject for my photography. Since I got my new lens for my Nikon D60 which is good for macro shoots and outdoor with a blurry effect, me and Mother Nature becomes closer and I have to say, I appreciate every little creature He made for us. To get the best event, subject or happening for my new interest I also joined different outdoors forums where I can mingle with outdoor or backpackers and capture every moment they enjoy.

Here’s a shot of one of the photographer who is into this subject ever since and she is so great in it.

I was able to get some tips from her and some advice for a beginner in this field and she was so good in it. This was taken in a butterfly garden somewhere north using my Nikon D60 with its 85mm f/2.8 lens. Yeah, the shot may not be macro but I was just showing the subject here who will be my coach for this field. I will post another picture with another shot and that would be for a macro topic. It doesn’t really matter what camera or lens you are, when talking about capturing nature’s beauty at its best, you can’t go wrong with any angle.

Camera Based

In most of the modern photographers and even the legendary artist that uses children’s images as a subject for their work. They have become renowned because of the way they present their subjects in their work, especially in photography, experts in children photography makes their subject as realistic as they can be. Most of the time making move the way they wish to. Even using props that they to their subjects like baby clothing and crib mattresses. Stolen shots are know to be the way of photo journalist because stealing the moment as it happens is the best way to present realism. In modern times, equipments have become more and more advance and complicated in the way that they are used; they also produce a astonishing amount of out come. These modern innovations allow photographers to shoot at lightning speed and incredible accuracy. Although these equipments are great, they are also expensive and hard to maintain, if you are more into making family photos, simple cameras that are great for beginners is the best choice for you. When you have mastered the basics that the time that you can excel and create photos which are more professionally accepted. So decide on what you need to create great photos.

Human Interest Shots

One time I had a chance to cover for a birthday party at Hendersonville homes, a new subdivision in our city that has a great clubhouse great for special events and has a good sun direction. That’s why I don’t have to think too much about my lighting strategy. When I got there, I started to set-up my equipments to the places that are most likely to be the center of the event. When I was about to finish in setting up, I found a brochure about Hendersonville real estate, I found out that they also offer units for bachelors, which is great because my brother is currently looking for one.

Getting back on the event, some people started to come in the clubhouse and almost filling the whole place. So I started to take some pictures of the people waiting in the covered hall and got some interesting shots that I can use for the album that I will be giving the celebrant. So the event started to unfold, I had my dinner before I went to the event, but the food looked so great that I just had to take a taste of the dessert. So it all went well and I got home with great pictures.

Journalism with Pictures

A picture is good when its composition is also good. A picture is composed of several factors that make it good. The subject is what the picture is depicting and reviling, the supporting subjects can be objects and also other people. In old photos, they usually use wood on objects to contrast their looks, natural colors of wood sometime barrels, humidor for cigars, automatic watch winders and such. This will make the subject more realistic and make it seem like a stolen shot. but using props for a picture can be both advantageous and disadvantageous, choosing right prop that wont take over the main subject and must compliment it more than anything else. Famous photographers from France usually don’t like any props in their portraits because of the fact that it can take over the main subject. Although journalism is usually spaced in outdoors or in situations that are real, it has always been a challenge to many photographers to make their photos point the right subject that they intended to show. Making photo subject standout in pictures is a challenging task but not impossible, cameras these days can create effects that the background of the subject is blurred naturally.

Photography And Me

I really love doing photography and I have been taking some minor projects and orders for some friends, even though I am not really a professional photographer. They say I have a good eye for things and I should take advantage of it. I remember last year, my friend had his wedding and he wanted me to cover all the photography in the said event. And as a payment, instead of me giving gifts for them, he gave me a Nikon DSLR as a gift and payment for covering the event. He gave me the camera a night before the event and told me he wanted me to use it in his wedding.

Right now I am still taking pictures as special favors for friends but I haven’t done any professional stuff just yet. Just last week, another friend asked me to have a pictorial, I guess for a bulletin board or something. He said he wanted to have some good background and I knew the perfect place to do it. It was the Asheville private community where I always wanted to live in because of the beauty of the place. In fact, I am considering some real estate in Asheville so I could live in there.

Builder’s Not Bowel

I tried finding some information about the International Builder’s Show because I want to see if they have some designs in there that I could possibly do in my own house because I really think my house needs a little spark to it since everything inside and out are a little bit too bland. I wanted to see if there are some ideas in there that I could adopt to my own house and see how it could affect my lifestyle within our neighborhood, since most people think of my house as an old school type that was never given a chance to evolve.

I was checking out Google for some details of the event so maybe I could also try to go to their next show. I carelessly just typed in IBS since that is the event’s abbreviation when Google showed me a different kind of IBS in a form of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which is mostly the cause of constipation. I immediately retried the search before I could get any gross images and made sure that the next time I will try to look for the International Builder’s Show, I will only type those words and not just put IBS in the search box.
