I have started a photography business just a few months back and I must say that the business is selling like pancakes and we have received a lot of orders for services, that is why I had to hire several assistants to help me out with all the preparations and logistics for the events, photo shoots and profile pictorials that we had to do. Although, I think I am having some problems with my payroll system because I haven’t really hired people to do my accounting for me and I need some help with it.
My friend, who is currently working in an accounting firm, told me to get one of those employee payroll software to make it easier for me since he said I don’t really need an accountant for all the stuff that I do since I only have a small company and an HR software should be able to do the trick for me. I decided to take his advice and check out some ads that could help me get a good company. I looked over the internet and Googled some companies and it showed me a lot of options. My dilemma now is choosing which company I should pick. –>

I just had my new camera and I was told that taking a good picture does not depend on how good your camera is or how good your lenses are. It is actually an art that needs to be practiced and enhanced through time. Similar to painting, you have to make sure that the colors are well blended together and not just take pictures just because you want to take them. He gave me some particular websites that would give me some ideas and simple tips to improve outdoor portraits.
It was said there to avoid having too much on the background because it will just ruin the view of the picture. Also try to remove some strange objects from your background. Any unnecessary objects should be removed to have the full effect of the surroundings and avoid having the viewers concentrate on those unnecessary objects. I also found out something about metering in photography, where it’s basically all about proper lighting, and that taking pictures against the light is not always a bad thing. I guess I still have a long way to go before I could really call myself a certified photographer. I just have to have patience for now so I could get what I want.

What is a Maid Café? Why is it such a big hit to costumers here and there? Here are some dependable answers:
A Maid Café (which is sometimes called Meido Café or Cosplay Restaurants) are cafés or restaurants where in the waitresses are in cosplay mode and give extra service than just food service. Examples are when a customers enters the café/restaurant, the maids cutely give a flattering greeting like “Welcome home, master.” Very much unlike ordinary cafes/restaurants, the maids (waitresses) here serve the customers as if they were their own masters. Also, when making tea, the maids have to kneel and do it properly. And they wear sterling silver jewelry (which they find where they buy wholesale jewelry) for charm. Sometimes, customers can even pay extra more to have the maids play a simple game with them or have photos taken with them. Though massages are a given, no sexual interaction is allowed.
These Maid Cafes have been a big hit since they started Akihabara and most recently in Shinjuku and other Japanese cities like Osaka and some others around the world since the year 2000. They’re a fast growing business and trend because of the cute pleasure and amusement they bring to costumers with how they please them as is they were a costumer’s own house servant. –>

I am currently thinking of what gift would I give to my younger brother on his birthday next month. All I remember him saying was he always wanted to become a good photographer like our uncle because he said the job seems to be a lot of fun.
There are a lot to consider when choosing your camera… there are of course the ever so reliable and user friendly digital camera, the old school style but still very competent against new models the Polaroid camera, and of course, the ever so popular DSLR for the pros and pro wannabes. Right now, I think the best ones out in the market would have to be the ones created by Canon and Nikon, and this is because of my personal experiences. I have tried both brands and they always work perfectly fine for me. And I think if I were to choose a camera for my younger bro, I would definitely pick either of the two brands, which brings me back to my problem… what camera do I give him? Do I give immediately give him a DSLR? Or do I just give him a simple digital camera for now and let him practice his skills?

I am looking for some good deals for an affordable macro - extension tubes and reverse mounting because I am practicing macro photography right now, in preparation for our latest project. I need to have this equipment as soon as possible so I could do my job perfectly and I need to make sure that I will be able to get a good bargain because quite frankly, I do not have that much resources to afford something expensive so I was hoping that there would be some cheap ones available over the internet if I could not really find any good shops within our area.

The thing about this macro – extension tubes is that this can really captivate the essence of the object that you are trying to take. The mere fact that this type of lens can easily get the close up that you’ve always wanted can already make people look at your pictures and a funny note… you can actually see your pores using this one! I hope there would be someone that could help me with this because quite honestly, I have no idea where to go right now. I badly need a new set of lenses for my camera to make this project work.

I’m currently self studying the concept of macro photography or close up photography and all of its glory, because I really find it enthralling that some photographers could actually take a picture of a very small insect, and make it look huge and very lively with just proper usage of lights, lens and flash photography. I am really mesmerized how people from the Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel do their documentaries and really get the essentials of the images that they are taking, both in still and moving pictures. During my self-study, I found out that the classical definition is that the image projected on the “film plane” is close to the same size as the subject.

On 35 mm film, the lens is typically optimized to focus sharply on a small area approaching the size of the film frame. Most 35mm format macro lenses achieve at least 1:2, that is to say, the image on the film is 1/2 the size of the subject being photographed. Many 35mm macro lenses are 1:1, meaning the image on the film is the same size as the object being photographed. Another important distinction is that lenses designed for macro are usually at their sharpest at macro focus distances and are not quite as sharp at other focus distances.

So far, that’s one of the most important things that I have found out and I guess I still have a long way to go so I could master the art of Macro Photography… –>

We were having a debate last night, me and my sister, on which is better and easier to use. It was a fight between Digital Camera vs DSLR, where I took side of the DSLR as the better one among the two, and of course my sister taking side of the digital camera.
Her argument was that digital cameras are always user friendly because it has less complicated features and you can bring it anytime you want like a cell phone because of its size and shape. She said it is more convenient and more portable than DSLR with a built in flash always included in it, and you can easily hide it if in case some bad guy decided to snatch it away from you. I told her that everything she said about the features of a digital camera can be found on a DSLR and some more. I said the good thing about DSLR is you can always change lens and the flash bulb anytime you want, depending on the lighting that you have on the subject that you want to take a picture of. I also told her that the best thing about DSLR cameras is its special features. You can automatically have special effects on the camera without using any special software in the computer.

Picture Perfect Prints
Photography is basically an art by itself. It requires a good amount of skill to really capture the essence of a particular scene. A lot of people nowadays are getting interested in this kind of art and most of them want to see if they can become good photographers and possibly do it as a livelihood. But as I’ve said, this will require skills and good eyesight, and your photos should be well printed, which is also another tricky errand for photographers.
Most people have problems on how to print photos. Besides the fact that it can be very expensive, it sometimes requires a dark room, which a lot of people cannot really afford to have. For those that use digital cameras, of course printing is easier, but still, they have to make sure that the printing would be well done, and sometimes, we just can’t trust the printing companies to handle the things that we send them. We have to make sure that we can fully trust the company before we choose them to print our photos. In this day and age, we got a lot of sources to take advantage from… I guess it would be a matter of also knowing what to choose, and not just looking for inexpensive stuff.

My friend was asking some advice about flash and lighting effects because she wants to join the photos of the year contest and wants to make sure she would win it. I asked her why she was asking me because I am not a professional photographer and I don’t think I’m credible enough to give advices about this kind of stuff. Then she replied she doesn’t need the technical stuff of taking a picture using a camera, she is just fascinated with the way I handle the camera because she said I always take good pictures whenever she lends me her DSLR camera.
I told her it is actually not much because as I have mentioned, I am not a pro and I guess the main reason why I could take good shots is because I am patient at taking the scenes and I make sure that I only get the best views that I could make, no matter who’s the person I’m taking, the background that I use, or the inanimate things that I try to take a photo of. I said I think it’s also the matter of knowing how much light should be used on a certain picture, and never ever take pictures against the light because you can never get a good result from it.

I am currently looking for some lens review because I am on the verge of buying a new camera for me and I’m not sure what is the best right now in lenses and the camera itself. It’s been a while since I last check some camera and lens models and I guess since I’ll be buying a new one, might as well try and see what the best ones are right now. Two of my friends gave me two different advices and it is basically a battle between Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G vs Primes.
I don’t really understand what they told me because they kept on telling me stuff about popping portraits and focus features and when I checked on the internet, I found out that Nikkor is actually connected with Nikon cameras and most of the Nikkor lenses were specially made to enhance a Nikon camera, while with Prime, most of their lenses were made for the Canon brand, and some other brands that I have never heard of. I’m a little bit siding towards Nikon right now because my old camera is a Nikon model. I guess right now, my decision would highly depend on the special features of the camera, especially the ones that my old camera doesn’t have.
